Interfaith and cross-cultural dating a challenge for young Australians

Australia is known for its multiculturalism—we embrace the food, the personalities, the languages and the music that comes from cultures and religion across the world.

However people, specifically parents, may not be as accepting of their children loving someone from a different culture or faith.

A new study from Macquarie University has found that a majority of parents put pressure on their children to date within a certain faith or culture, which can lead to familial conflict.
